Shaping the Future - what science do we want funded to support UK Bioindustry?

With the creation of UKRI and the reshaping of the UK Research Councils we have a need and an opportunity to identify those areas of science that we believe are most important to fund to support our industry going forward.

SIAC, working together with MAC and the BIA, has been putting together a ‘top ten’ list of scientific areas that we believe are most important to fund over the next 5-10 years. It is proposed that, when finalised, this list is used to help focus BIA’s lobbying activity for investment.

In this meeting we will review, challenge and refine this list asking the questions have we got it right?; and what have we missed?
