The Scientist is a member of Process Sciences and performs a wide range of activities associated with the design, development, scale-up, technical transfer and cGMP clinical manufacture of bulk drug substances expressed from mammalian, viral or microbial expression systems. The Scientist, takes specific responsibilities for leading activities within the group, including: •Leading the design, delivery and reporting of experimental work to meet project timelines •Training others in procedures or equipment •Maintaining exemplary standard within the laboratory or production facility •Identify and deliver ideas to enhance capabilities of process sciences •Support Senior Scientists or project leads on delivery of work packages and projects. •They are required to perform all activities in accordance with regulatory requirements and in compliance with Quality and EHS Policies and Procedures.
