PULSE 2023: leadership and entrepreneurship training programme

PULSE 2024: Programme for Up and coming Life Sciences Entrepreneurs

PULSE is a free three-day leadership and entrepreneurship training programme for up and coming life sciences entrepreneurs. Developed by the BioIndustry Association (BIA) and the Francis Crick Institute, the programme is aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs and first-time CEOs looking for advanced practical advice, support and feedback from established CEOs, leading entrepreneurs and renowned professionals.

The programme comprises a mix of sessions, talks, interactive exercises, interspersed with networking opportunities to equip you with necessary information and inspiration to become leading CEOs and entrepreneurs. It will give you a chance to practise relevant skills and share ideas in a safe space, with expert feedback and advice. It will also give an invaluable opportunity to build links and networks across the sector, from industry experts to your CEO peers, and form an ongoing relationship with the Francis Crick Institute and the BIA.

Why apply?

  • Be part of a small and selective cohort of entrepreneurs - 20-25 applicants - forming an exclusive mix of young entrepreneurs from the biotech sector and group leaders or researchers from the Francis Crick Institute.
  • Gain insight from and access to experienced entrepreneurs, investors and suppliers within the sector during and beyond the three day programme.
