PULSE Check - How to lead great virtual meetings

This is part of the PULSE Check series, in which entrepreneurs and members of the BIA startup network will have the opportunity to learn from each other, and from leading experts. While focused on early-stage CEOs, entrepreneurs at any company stage will find something to benefit them.

Virtual meetings have been on the up for a while – providing a practical and economical way to bring remote teams together and get on with business without the need for a physical meeting.  Post Covid-19, the requirement to lead meetings virtually has grown exponentially.  What this means is that we are all having to embrace the power of technology in order to keep business moving forwards, build and maintain relationships and get things done. It stands to reason that those who understand how to lead great virtual meetings, are at a real advantage.

This 45-minute masterclass and Q&A will introduce you the essential tools and approaches that will enable you to run great virtual meetings and ensure you maximise your impact and outcomes whether you are leading a virtual team meeting or e-meeting a potential client or investor for the first time.

CMS will also deliver a summary of key governance issues to be considered when running virtual board meetings.

By the end of the webinar, attendees will:

  • Know how to prepare for a successful virtual meeting
  • Have explored delivery and set up techniques that will ensure they look and sound like a pro
  • Understand how to boost connection and engagement in an online environment
  • Know how to maximise the value of meeting time and drive meeting efficiency and output
  • Understand key governance issues to be considered when running virtual board meetings.
