Analysis for Innovators (A4I) - Round 9

The next round of Analysis for Innovators (A4I) has been announced and will be accepting applications until Wednesday 4 January 2023. UK businesses can apply for a share of up to £3 million to resolve productivity and competitiveness challenges, working with some of the UK’s top scientists and research facilities on projects with funding between £15,000 and £120,000

A4I is an Innovate UK-led funding programme that provides UK businesses with cutting-edge R&D expertise and facilities to help solve measurement or analysis challenges that can’t be solved using standard technologies and techniques. The latest competition of this popular programme (Round 9) is open to any UK-registered company, with A4I Round 9 welcoming applications for either Full scale or Mini projects as described below: 

1. Full-scale projects - Open to all UK registered companies for collaborative projects for up to 9 months. 
2. Mini projects- Dedicated to assisting micro, small or medium-sized enterprises (SME) with small collaborative projects for up to 3 months.

This virtual briefing event delivered an overview of the programme, an insight into the capability of a programme partner, and an update on the eligibility and criteria for Round 9 by the Innovation Lead and delivery team.
