Accessing biomedical data for data analysis

An SME forum, jointly hosted for a second year, by EMBL-EBI (European Bioinformatics Institute) with MDC (Medicines Discovery Catapult).

Delivered in partnership with invited experts from EMBL-EBI, MDC, UKRI,  HDRUK (Health Data Research UK), GEL (Genomics England Limited), NHS DigitalELIXIR UKADDI (Alzheimer’s Disease Data Initiative), and UK Biobank, this is an opportunity for delegates from the commercial sector to explore practical solutions for accessing health data and learn about the informatics tools and resources available to help analyse these data in the context of in-house and other publicly available data. 

This event will also include networking opportunities and breakout sessions for deep dives on specific topics on data access

What's planned?
- Helping life science business sector organisations to access biomedical data for analysis.
- Attendees, invited from the small to medium size (SME) business sector will be informed about resources available from each of the event delivery partner organisations, introduced to tools and mechanisms for accessing and processing data to meet their own needs
- In addition to networking, there will be opportunities for 1:1 sessions with MDC and EMBL-EBI to discuss specific needs and explore options for collaboration.
