Formulation, quality and delivery of tomorrow’s medicines workshop
BioProNet2 has partnered with Innovate UK KTN to explore new methods in analytics and formulation to help improve productivity and profitability in manufacturing the medicines of tomorrow.
As medicines move away from large production runs of low-complexity small molecules to more complex advanced therapeutic medicinal products the need for rapid and robust analytics and formulation increases. Understanding these challenges and identifying novel solutions to tackle these can help increase the cost and speed of production, improving access to life-saving medicines and improving patient outcomes.
About the event
This event looks to explore novel analytical techniques, and new approaches to formulation and identify gaps where innovation could be targeted to develop new solutions for the problems faced today in the manufacture of medicines. The event will feature a range of speakers from academia and industry, with breakout sessions throughout the day for follow-up discussion and idea formulation across a range of therapeutic areas including antibody therapeutics, cell-based therapies and small molecule formulation.
There will also feature a poster presentation and an opportunity for three selected poster authors to present their research in an ‘elevator pitch’ style.
