iiCON Free lab testing service by Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM)

iiCON is able to provide SMEs in the Merseyside area with access to state-of-the-art technology and world leading infection control expertise to help them develop infection control products or solve bacteria related business challenges.

iiCON and Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) can provide you with swabs to sample areas of interest. You may wish to test the cleanliness of surfaces before and after your usual cleaning regimen to give you reassurance that your procedures are effective. Or this might be operating tables and/or equipment or areas of regular traffic within your site. The results are from the LSTM's own labs. We will provide you with ten sterile swabs to test an area and return to us. The results are yours and will not be disclosed to anyone else without your prior consent.

As a European Regional Development Fund programme, the support is fully funded and easy to access. It is open to businesses operating in any sector and has a proven track record of providing companies with the data they need to progress new technologies, secure new funding, file for patents, substantiate product claims and much more.
