Kidney Research UK's upcoming virtual event will showcase their latest research project focused on protecting kidney patients against Covid-19 and how they are improving treatment for children with kidney disease.

Hear from Dr Michelle Willicombe, who is leading the latest national Covid-19 vaccine research study, MELODY, and Professor Rukshana Shroff, who will update us on her work to improve treatment for all children receiving dialysis.

Both Michelle and Rukshana will give an overview on their research projects, and will be on hand to answer guests questions afterwards.

We will also hear from someone who has experienced dialysis as a child. Aphria was diagnosed with congenital nephrotic syndrome at a year old, and at 23 she has just received her second successful kidney transplant.

This event is will be hosted online and is free to attend.
