Tackling the skills gap within bioinformatics

Biomatics' specialist team are partnering with Professor Sascha Ott from Warwick University to discuss the importance of bioinformatics skills within the Life Science sector.

Join Biomatics online on 31st March at 10am to engage with a panel of experts and hear their opinions on the current skills gap and key challenge areas. With attendee questions welcomed, this is an opportunity to explore what needs to happen to enable this important field of work to continue to grow.

On the panel are Andreea Iftimia-Mander, Head of Biomatics, Alexander Senf, Senior Bioinformatician and Ana Jawaid, Bioinformatician. Joining them is well-respected Professor Sascha Ott, an expert in designing experimental-computational workflows to address specific biomedical questions, who has also been involved in a range of research projects including comparative genomics of non-coding DNA, cancer research, plant biology projects and more.
