The Babraham investor conference
There is still time to register for the Babraham Investor Conference (BIC) on Thursday, 21 September, 12pm - 5pm, followed by networking drinks and nibbles.
This year marks the 17th Annual Investor Conference. As such, it is cemented in the investor calendar as a must-attend event, celebrating the success of scientific discovery taking place at Babraham Research Campus and within the wider life science ecosystem.
We are excited to welcome Dr Dan Mahony, Chair of the UK Bioindustry Association (BIA) for the opening session: The Mansion House Pact - Is pension fund money really going to boost scale up capital for the sector? Following which, we have an exciting line up of scale-up company presentations including Jane Osbourn, Chief Scientific Officer, Alchemab and Sir Steve Jackson, Chief Research Officer, Insmed.
To enhance the links between Cambridge and Manchester, this year we are showcasing start-up companies from both Babraham Research Campus and Alderley Park - and we welcome Andy Roberts, Innovation Manager, Alderley Park to our panel discussion.
BIC is aimed at investors associated with either angel or VC funds focused on seed to series C investments and translational funding organisations. To attend please register your interest.
