The Net Zero 50 List

At a time of heightened awareness of the environment and to coincide with COP27, the Net Zero 50 List represents the top 50 individuals, initiatives, products and services helping us reach Net Zero in the UK.

Reaching net zero is enormously challenging and at the same time everyone’s responsibility.

This list showcases the work already underway, the individuals, initiatives, products and services cross sector and across the UK helping drive forward the net-zero transition, providing tangible solutions and inspiration for net zero strategy in order to transform our world into a sustainable one.

The Net Zero 50 List celebrates innovations that improve people’s lives and the world around us. They are open to any individual, business, government or non-profit using digital products or services for positive social or environmental benefit.

Creating the List

The Digital Leaders Net Zero 50 List is a list of individuals, products and initiatives that have set out or delivered an ambitious decarbonisation strategy. It celebrates the net zero innovations and innovators who are delivering the UK’s net zero agenda of reaching zero by 2050.

This is the first year we are opening nominations, available for any person, business, government or non-profit organisation across 5 categories of 10. The 2022 Net Zero 50 List is open from 13th September until 14th October 2022.

Our judges will shortlist the entries into a final list of 50 across the 5 categories.

The final list will be announced during COP 27 and Digital Leader’s Innovation Week between 14-18 November 2022, and it’s members will be invited to the House of Lords for a networking reception.

The list is categorised under three sectors: Public, Private and Charity, and between individual and organisations.
