Registration is now open for the launch of the new Manufacturing Research Hub for a Sustainable Future (Vax-Hub Sustainable). This event is an opportunity to hear first-hand about the Hub’s vision to deliver manufacturing innovations that enable a transformative change towards sustainable and rapidly responsive vaccine manufacture.

When: Friday, 8th December 2023, 9.30am- 5pm followed by a networking drinks reception until 6.30pm

About Vax-Hub Sustainable
Vax-Hub Sustainable is led by UCL Biochemical Engineering and the University of Oxford with academic partners from the University of Leeds, the University of Manchester, the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine along with a number of industrial partners. Vax-Hub Sustainable is funded for seven years with a £12M grant from the EPSRC, part of UKRI), under its Manufacturing Research Hubs for a Sustainable Future initiative. Come along to hear from leading academics about our exciting research plans!

In addition to hearing about the new Hub, you will also have the opportunity to learn how industry are tackling the challenges presented by the need for improved manufacturing sustainability with confirmed presentations from AstraZeneca, Croda and Synthace.

The event will include dynamic opportunities for networking with both academics and other industry partners as we build the Hub consortium.
