We are seeking to appoint a world-class senior scientist to develop and lead the new University of Oxford Biological Process & Analytical Development (BiPAD) team, under the guidance of Dr Alexander (Sandy) Douglas (who led process development and scale-up for the Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine candidate). Initially you will contribute to the ongoing and fast-moving development of improved processes and analytics for global manufacturing of the Oxford COVID-19 vaccine, but we anticipate the role will be broad and varied beyond this. The BiPAD team will aim to provide expert input to GMP process & analytical development for diverse products emerging from the University of Oxford’s world-leading translational research (including other vaccines, monoclonal antibodies, gene therapies, nucleic acid products, cell line development, and other biologicals).
