This position represents an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take leadership responsibility in a fast paced, exciting, environment and to manage an interdisciplinary team. The role will include developing and executing on strategies to: analyse viral diversity; explore viral evolution and functional genomics; deconvolute therapeutic mechanisms (preclinically, and for translation to the clinic setting); and collaborate across projects to deliver strategic research and development goals. The successful applicant will drive the identification and development of therapeutics at the interface of cancer and virology. To fully realise the potential of our discovery platforms we combine expertise from diverse areas including virology, cancer biology, molecular biology and bioinformatics; we’re looking for a candidate with the ability to span multiple disciplines and collaborate across matrixed teams and projects.
