VasoDynamics Ltd (“VDL”), is a pharmaceutical development company with a pipeline of highly differentiated drugs preventing the side-effects associated with cancer therapy such as oral mucositis, dermatitis and alopecia (hair loss). The programmes are based on leading science behind the mechanism of action and novel formulation, which enable a range of vasoconstrictors to be formulated into innovative therapeutics for the cancer therapy-induced side-effects on the skin and mucosa. The technology concept is to prevent normal skin and mucosa being damaged by oncology chemo/radiotherapy by introducing transient hypoxia condition to normal skin and mucosa during cancer treatment, so to enhance the effectiveness of anti-cancer therapies by enabling the completion of full anti-cancer therapy without interruption.
