THE bioprocessing networking event of the year heads to Liverpool this November!

Reigster now for the 16th Annual bioProcess UK Conference

The conference will be preceded by the popular pre-party in Liverpool Town Hall and delegates will be wowed by the breath-taking Anglican Cathedral, where the conference dinner will be held. Prepare to be spellbound when the organist guides you in through the candlelit walkway!

The conference will take place in the iconic St George’s Hall, ideally located next to Liverpool Lime Street station and in the heart of the city centre.  As in previous years, the regular slots of the Peter Dunnill award and lecture will return and there will be an update from the Medicines Manufacturing Industry Partnership (MMIP).

I’m looking forward to seeing flash presentations from early career scientists and taking the opportunity to explore the vibrant exhibition stands. A big thank you to BIA member Allergan Biologics, who are the conference’s Host supporter this year, and a huge thanks to all our supporters and exhibitors – we couldn’t deliver such a successful conference without them.

As well as superb venues, the conference programme promises not to disappoint. Our theme for 2019 is Bioprocessing in the Digital Age, with sessions focussing on cutting edge, life changing personalised medicines; manufacturing science; next generation analytics to remove bottlenecks and bioprocessing in the digital age.

There will be keynote presentations from Microsoft and GE Digital, where we will hear their experiences of digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence (AI), and how that can benefit your company and the wider life sciences sector.

There is a fantastic manufacturing cluster in Liverpool and delegates should be aware of the visits we have planned to some of the Speke manufacturing sites on the afternoon of day two of the conference.

The conference goes from strength to strength and 2018 saw over 285 delegates from 160 leading organisations attend to hear the latest news and developments within the manufacturing and biologics arena.

2019 is set to be another remarkable success and we do hope you are able to join us. If you are looking to showcase your business/organisation to the bioprocessing community then check out the supporter and exhibitor packages and reserve your space soon, there are only a few stands still available.
