BIA has worked with economists from London Economics to identify a new methodology to more accurately capture the full extent of R&D tax relief impact in the life science sector.
The development of a more robust and comprehensive evidence base is an important step in ensuring that R&D tax reliefs remain appropriately valued and will allow the government to make more informed policy decisions and the best use of taxpayer money when public finances are under pressure.
