We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced molecular virologist/biologist to join our coronavirus project team to develop cell-based models for analysing virus entry and trafficking, as part of our Science Challenge on how pathogens interact with human cells. Our aim is to discover new ways of detecting, preventing and combatting human infectious diseases by discovering the mechanisms by which viruses interact with human cells and tissues. Experience working with viral systems is essential, expertise in the development of live virus assays and an interest in structural cell biology are desirable.

As a Research Associate at the Franklin, you will apply your scientific knowledge and skills to our goal of understanding coronavirus mechanisms, bringing independent, creative science to our project team. Through this work, you will build scientific independence, develop new science and leadership skills, and establish a growing reputation externally.
