The company

At Abselion we're on a mission to revolutionize protein research. Our vision is to empower scientists to focus on discovery and innovation, not tedious manual tasks. We have created Amperia, a compact, affordable benchtop solution designed to simplify protein research for everyone. Amperia helps researchers to develop the medicine of the future, find the best ways to produce novel biomolecules, and ensure that medicine is always safe and efficacious.

We are a dynamic, interdisciplinary team working at the intersection of biotechnology and engineering. We value a flat hierarchy, where everyone is encouraged to share their ideas and follow their passion. We are supported by some of the leading investors and companies in the biopharmaceutical industry.

The role

As we continue to expand our sales reach, we are seeking a proactive, experienced Senior Sales Manager to join our growing Sales and Marketing team and lead our ambitious growth plans in Europe. As the Senior Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving revenue growth of Amperia, expanding our European customer base and establishing relationships with key stakeholders in the biopharma industry.

Your responsibilities will include the following critical areas:

1. European sales strategy development

Lead the development and delivery of the commercial sales strategy for Amperia in mAb and AAV quantification across Europe in line with company goals.

Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows and customer site visits to build brand awareness.

Deliver impactful sales pitches to promote the benefits of Amperia.

Communicate customer feedback back into the organisation.

3. Sales forecasting and reporting

Monitor and analyse European mAb and AAV application sales data and provide regular reports on sales performance to the Senior Leadership Team.

Develop accurate sales forecasts for European mAb and AAV opportunities and make effective resourcing recommendations.

4. Sales process optimisation

Analyse the sales process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Implement and ensure compliance with best practises for the sales team.

Oversee the use of HubSpot to effectively track global leads, opportunities and sales activity and move contacts swiftly through the sales cycle.

5. Market and competitor analysis

Remain informed on market trends, competitor activities and industry changes.

Use market insights to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge to increase market share.

6. Collaboration with other departments

Collaborate with R&D and Marketing to tailor Amperia to customer’s needs and ensure the promotion of relevant value propositions to customers.

Work closely with R&D to deliver successful customer demonstrations.

Work alongside the marketing team to align efforts and optimise sales opportunities, such as through partnering with customers to generate marketing assets.
