About Epoch Biodesign
Our flagship technology is the enzymatic recycling of Nylon 6,6 and Nylon 6. This innovative process can handle any colour, blend, or laminate of hard plastic or textile waste. By using a highly specific biological process, we eliminate unwanted side products and drastically reduce the energy footprint, delivering virgin-quality products with a significantly lower environmental impact.
Backed by $40 million in funding from strategic partners, including Inditex (Mundi Ventures), Extantia, and Lowercarbon Capital, London-based Epoch Biodesign is a leader in biorecycling. Having proven our technology at pilot scale, we are now rapidly building a multi-tonne enzymatic recycling facility to achieve industrial-scale commercialisation.
