Ground Truth Labs (GTL) has developed AI-powered computer vision algorithms to quantify complex spatial biomarkers from digital images of standard histopathology slides. Analysis is non-tissue destructive and results can be provided in near real-time, powering patient stratification in clinical trials and effectively monitoring response to intervention.

Ground Truth Labs (GTL) was founded to improve outcomes for every cancer patient with AI driven insights from digital pathology. GTL’s quantitative digital pathology biomarker platform is used to analyse whole slide images of tissue biopsies, along with multi-modal data, to guide clinical drug development, accelerate and de-risk clinical trials, and ultimately advance clinical diagnosis. GTL’s computer vision algorithms analyse standard histopathology whole slide images within the context of the wider disease space, provided via high-quality and proprietary annotated reference disease cohorts. Analysis is non-tissue destructive and results can be provided by GTL in near real-time. With its origins at the University of Oxford, GTL’s multidisciplinary team of machine learning scientists, clinicians and histopathology experts have a track record of developing meaningful and robust algorithms for quantitative and systematic analysis of spatial biomarkers which have been used globally by biotech and pharma groups to analyse clinical trial samples to generate more and deeper insights from existing tissue samples and clinical data.
