Deadline: 24 December 2025

Research barriers for rare, less common and less survivable cancers

Cancer52 and the Less Survivable Cancers Taskforce are working together to develop a joint research policy position. As part of this process, we want to hear directly from you. We are inviting healthcare professionals, researchers, industry and charities to share your views on the barriers you see to research, and the practical solutions you believe could help improve research into rare, less common and less survivable cancers. Your input will help shape a policy that reflects the real challenges and opportunities across the research landscape.

Once the consultation closes, we will analyse the findings to identify shared priorities across rare, less common and less survivable cancers. Member charities will also be able to use the insights for their specific cancer types.

How to take part

The consultation has been designed with different sections depending on your role or experience. Please note, all sections and questions are optional. You are welcome to skip any areas where you feel you don’t have knowledge or experience and focus only on the ones where you do. Your insights are valuable wherever you choose to contribute.
