Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst CEO Dr Sally Ann Forsyth OBE passes away after long battle with illness
Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst is deeply saddened to share the news that our CEO, Dr Sally Ann Forsyth OBE, passed away at home on Saturday 2 May after a long battle with illness.
Dr Sally Ann Forsyth OBE played a significant role in shaping SBC into the thriving life sciences community it is today. Her vision, determination and longstanding commitment to advancing health innovation for patients around the world will continue to leave a lasting impact across the sector.
A highly respected figure within the UK life sciences industry, Sally Ann was recognised as one of the early female leaders within a traditionally male-led sector, helping pave the way for future generations.
Sally Ann cared deeply about supporting innovation and helping next-generation medicines become available to the patients who needed them most. A passionate advocate for scaling scientific innovation within the UK, Sally Ann built strong relationships across academia, industry, investment and government, and will continue to be remembered and admired by many colleagues, family and friends across the life sciences community.
