Can I book and confirm the attendee details later?
Yes, you can book onto our events and complete the attendee details at another time. The attendee details need to be confirmed 2 weeks prior to the event.
Can I book on behalf of a colleague?
Yes, tick the 'add another delegate' button option when registering for the event. You will remain the main booking contact and will receive all booking information, such as the invoice and the attendee will receive their booking confirmation and all event logistic emails, such as joining instructions in the lead up to the event.
I can no longer attend an event, am I able to swap with a colleague?
Yes, you can swap your ticket with someone else. Please email [email protected] to make us aware and include all the below details for the new attendee.

Can you accommodate dietary or accessibility requirements?
If you have any dietary or accessibility requirements, please let us know at least 3 weeks before the event, unfortunately we cannot guarantee we can accommodate any requests made after this deadline.
What is my membership category and what is the cost of my ticket?
Membership catergory information can be found within your company profile in our membership directory. Ticket pricing for members is clearly outlined on each event page.

Can I pay by credit card?
Payment options vary depending on the size of the event and the total ticket value. For bookings under £100, payment is by card only. For larger events where the total exceeds £100, you can choose to pay by card or request an invoice at checkout.
Can I add a PO number to my booking?
Yes, you can add a PO number during the checkout process when making your booking. If you’ve already completed your booking, please email Asamoah to have it added.

Can I get access to an attendee list in advance?
We do not share attendee lists in advance. Attendee lists will be available the day of the event, either through our event app, printed brochure or linked URL.
Will I receive a ticket?
Our events are not ticketed – upon arrival please make your way to the registration desk where you will check-in and collect your badge for the event.
Can I attend all types of BIA events?
Most of our events are open to both our members and non-members. However, some of our events are invite-only to service specific communities.
We would recommend checking each event listing carefully. Please note, we reserve the right to cancel bookings that do not meet the criteria outlined for a particular event.
Invoices
When will I receive my invoice?
Once you’ve completed your booking, you’ll receive a booking confirmation email, followed by a separate email with your invoice within 24 hours. If you haven’t received your invoice after this time, please email Asamoah.
Can I change/amend the address on the invoice?
If you have any changes to your invoice, please email [email protected]
What is your cancellation policy for event bookings?
Our cancellation policy can differ depending on the event, please refer to the individual event page to double check the cacnellation details which can be found on the Costs and T&C's section.
What is your cancellation policy for event sponsorship?
Our cancellation policy can differ depending on the event, please refer to the confirmation form that is sent out to each supporter. We also take confirmation via email as acceptance of our terms and conditions.
