If you could invite any scientist or entrepreneur to dinner, who would it be and why?
I’d love to have Sir Mason Durie as a dinner guest. His work blending Māori knowledge with community, health, and environmental wellbeing has shaped how Aotearoa New Zealand thinks about sustainability and public health. I’d be interested to hear how he approaches long-term thinking, and how traditional knowledge can guide modern policy and innovation. It would be inspiring to explore how cultural wisdom and contemporary solutions can tackle today’s biggest challenges.
