Mission
Our mission is simple: bring together all key stakeholders, from lab to fab, to accelerate the commercialization of innovative biobased solutions and strengthen the European bioeconomy.
Building on the tremendous success of the 2025 edition, programming 125 innovator pitches and welcomed more than 530 participants, including 220+ start-ups and SMEs, 60+ investors, 40+ corporates, 30+ pilot facilities, and 200+ additional bioeconomy stakeholders, we are aiming even higher in 2026.
Exclusive Scale-up Experience Day at Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant
On 2 December 2026, up to 150 participants (first come, first served) will have the opportunity, to attend an exclusive Scale-up Experience Day for Start-ups, SMEs, Corporates and Investors at Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant and gain valuable insights into industrial scale-up.

Apply for a pitch slot and present your technology to a highly targeted audience. We are looking for 120+ innovative technology pitches, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications close on 16 October.

4. Apply for a Travel Voucher
Pitching companies can apply for a € 500 travel voucher (applications open on 1 July 2026 and close on 10 October 2026).
You can apply for a voucher if you are:
- A start-up
- Located >300 km from Brussels
- Eligible for EU funding (Horizon Europe)
- Never received a travel voucher issued by the COPILOT project
