Cellestial Health is developing new small molecule solutions for brain disorders that protect networks of brain cells called astrocytes to modify disease progression of Parkinson’s and beyond. Cellestial approach offers immunomodulation without the side effects of immunosuppression, tapping into the core pathology that leads to the development of abnormal cell signalling, and ultimately various motor and non-motor symptoms. Moreover, since astrocytic network disruption has been found in depression, multiple sclerosis, stoke, and dementia, stabilising these networks with safe and brain-penetrant drugs offers solutions to improve patients’ and carers’ quality of life and reduce economic burdens of neurological disabilities worldwide.
