Despite the remarkable success of CAR T-cell therapies in certain blood cancers, their application in solid tumours and some haematological cancers has been limited due to challenges such as tumour heterogeneity, off-tumour toxicity, and immunosuppressive microenvironments. ImmunoKey's innovative CARKey platform is designed to overcome these barriers, offering a mechanism that improves tumour targeting without risking increased toxicity, enhances T-cell persistence, and improves efficacy in the tumour microenvironment. This CARKey technology will significantly improve the chances of patients achieving durable responses and significantly boost the UKs position as a global leader in developing innovative therapeutic products for cancer.
