o2h Technology Announces Tech Kickstarter Competition 4.0 to Support Seed and Early-Stage Startups

Cambridge, UK: o2h Technology, a business vertical of the o2h Group, is delighted to announce the launch of the fourth edition of its Tech Kickstarter Competition. First launched in 2023, the initiative continues to support innovative seed and early-stage companies by helping them bring their ideas to life with end-to-end MVP, web, and mobile app development needs.

Building on the success of earlier editions, the competition has already established itself as a catalyst for innovative seed and early-stage ventures. To date, it has attracted over 70 startup applications, with 9 winners selected for their groundbreaking and impactful ideas spanning life sciences, tech/AI, and green innovation.

The winning startups from previous editions include:

Geromics: A Cambridge-based startup empowering individuals to access personalised healthcare across the globe

Beacon Family Services: A not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing children’s emotional development

GitLife Biotech: A Newcastle-based biotech company focused on making significant strides in healthcare and biotechnology

RouteZero: A greentech startup committed to decarbonising business travel

Biiah: A Cambridge-based early stage startup committed to improving people’s health

Matrix Bio: A pioneering TechBio startup revolutionising the design and optimisation of hydrogels

SimplyArt AI: Leveraging AI to transform the future of creative expression

DocMe: A digital health startup improving healthcare accessibility through technology

Axia Medicine: Scaling globally to redefine access to personalised medicines

Each of these startups has benefited from the comprehensive support package offered through the kickstarter award. This includes cost advantages, dedicated project management, access to a highly skilled team of full-stack developers, as well as business analysis and CTO-level technical guidance. Collectively, these benefits have enabled winners to accelerate product development, navigate complex technical challenges, and bring their innovations to market faster.

On winning the third edition, here is what Alessandro Riccombeni, CEO of Axia Medicine, has to say:

With deep expertise in product development across multiple industries and cutting-edge technologies, o2h Technology is committed to addressing the most pressing challenges faced by seed and early-stage startups. These include the high cost of skilled developers, the need for strategic technical guidance, and the complexities of digital product development.

Speaking on the launch of the fourth edition, Prashant Shah, CEO of o2h Technology, said:

We’ve always loved working with seed/early stage companies with ideas that are fresh, bold, and full of purpose. As a mission-driven organisation, we understand the pivotal role technology plays in helping these founders turn vision into reality. The Tech Kickstarter award gives them a simple way to get moving, while giving our o2h tech team the thrill of working on genuinely novel and creative projects. We’re once again looking forward to welcoming applications.

Applications for the Tech Kickstarter Competition 4.0 will be evaluated by the members of the Tech Kickstarter Committee, including Prashant Shah, Co-founder of the o2h Group, and Axay Soni, CTO at o2h Technology, amongst others.

This is a time-limited opportunity for seed and early-stage startups to fast-track their digital journey, whether that means building a new MVP or enhancing an existing product.
