The leadership development programme for leaders in the Life Sciences

This course will run over four half-days from Monday 2 March to Thursday 5 March 2026.

In a biopharmaceutical landscape driven by complex biologics, hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture scale-up is no longer optional, it is essential. Yet for many early-career scientists and industry professionals, opportunities to gain practical, end-to-end bioprocessing skills remain limited. This intensive three-day course bridges that gap by combining core theory with immersive laboratory training, giving participants direct experience of modern mammalian cell bioprocessing workflows. From cell line maintenance, media preparation, and aseptic technique to operating a bench-scale stirred tank bioreactor, attendees will develop the confidence and competence needed to succeed in real-world bioprocessing environments.
