Following the recent Workforce Foresighting cycle that indicated a growing demand for data skills among organisations in the network, the Advanced Therapies Apprenticeship Community (ATAC) has partnered with Cambridge Spark for the delivery of our inaugural cohort of Data Citizen apprenticeships, beginning (if all goes well) in February/March 2026!
The Data Citizen is a highly versatile 13-month programme aimed at improving an individual’s data literacy, analysis and data storytelling, and can be used to upskill anyone that engages with data in their regular role – technical or non-technical.
We recommend using it as a comparatively quick, funded route to upskilling your existing employees using apprenticeship funding, but it can also be used to bring new talent into your business (as long as their prospective role involves working with data of any sort!).
To that end, our friends at Cambridge Spark are hosting an introductory webinar for their Level 3 Data Citizen apprenticeship (aligned to the Level 3 Data Technician apprenticeship standard) on 4 November – please come along if you are interested in the apprenticeship yourself, or you are considering it for a member of your team or organisation!
Please share with anyone that might be interested in pursuing this apprenticeship themselves, or may have ideas of how it could help their department!
