Royal Society of Biology Employer Advisory Network (EAN)

The Royal Society of Biology (RSB) is seeking bioscience companies to join its new Employer Advisory Network. Contribute your valuable experience to the RSB's work: advising Government and influencing policy; advancing education and professional development; and engaging and encouraging public interest in the life sciences.

What is EAN?

The Employer Advisory Network (EAN) is a group of companies active in the biosciences, the provide expertise and support to the RSB. RSB is dedicated to being a unifying voice for biology, representing diverse views from across the bioscience sector; EAN brings an invaluable industry perspective RSB's work.
EAN acts as pool of expertise in industry, providing valuable input to the RSB on a range of matters related to the biological sciences. The network is free to join, and members are not required to be individual members of the RSB.

Why join EAN?

Joining EAN is a great opportunity for companies to showcase their support of the bioscience sector, and get involved in RSB’s efforts to support the professionalisation of the bioscience industry.
What does your company get?

Participating employers will be acknowledged on the RSB website and invited to take part in key RSB events such as our bioscience careers days.

EAN members will be consulted regularly on a range of matters, including Government policy consultations, providing ideas for future training courses, identifying good quality career resources, sponsorship opportunities, and more.

How much time is involved?

EAN is an informal network that does not demand extensive time commitments from its members. Representatives are not obligated to respond to every email sent to the network, and are free to choose when and how often they engage with the RSB.

Get involved

To join EAN, companies are asked to nominate a representative who will act as the point of contact for the network. This representative will receive communications from the RSB and be encouraged to disseminate them to appropriate colleagues within their organisation.
