UCL-Oxford Vax-Hub Global Online Launch
This event is an opportunity to hear first-hand about the Hub’s vision to deliver flexible, easily transferable multi-product platforms and simplified engineering solutions that enable development of low-cost, effective and globally deployable vaccines to LMICs.
About Vax-Hub Global
Building on the success of Vax-Hub (2018-2023), Vax-Hub Global is led by UCL Biochemical Engineering and the University of Oxford with academic partners from the University of Leeds, the University of Cardiff, the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine along with a number of industrial partners. Vax-Hub Global is funded for 4.5 years with an almost £10 million grant from the Department of Health and Social Care as part of the UK Vaccine Network (UKVN) and managed by EPSRC. Come along to hear from leading academics about our exciting research plans!
In addition to hearing about the new Hub, you will also have the opportunity to learn how industry are tackling the challenges in developing of low cost, effective and globally deployable vaccines. The event will include dynamic opportunities for networking with both academics and other industry partners as we build the Hub consortium.
