Women from across the sector are invited to enjoy a great evening of networking, drinks and gripping discussion. Elaine Warburton OBE and Nadia Whittley will explore developments in innovative diagnostics, to inspire transformational change, helping patients and clinicians around the world.

Marjan is a partner in our Intellectual Property Litigation practice in London. She has a particular focus in patent and regulatory law in the life science sector. She has represented clients in proceedings before the UK courts and CJEU.
Marjan graduated with a degree in Pharmacology (having completed the preclinical years of a degree in Medicine) before going onto study law. She writes and speaks extensively on a range of patent and regulatory topics and is a co-author of the chapter on “Introduction to European Regulatory Rights” in Intellectual Property in the Life Sciences text.
Recommended as one of the UK's leading patent litigators and regulatory specialists, Chambers 2015/2016 comments: “Marjan Noor is commended for her leadership of make-or-break patent disputes, and also for her advice on regulatory issues”. Elaine Warburton OBE
Elaine is CEO of British life sciences, tools and diagnostics company QuantuMDx Group. She is an entrepreneur with over 25 years’ healthcare and biotechnology experience with an eclectic background in nursing, genetics, chartered accounting and running hospitals. Elaine has taken QuantuMDx from concept to product raising around $50m in both equity and grants. She has overseen strategic collaborations with established Life Science companies, blue chip academic organisations and NGOs. She was awarded an OBE for services to innovation in healthcare.
An experienced, high energy senior executive, Nadia has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare and life science industries, spanning pharmaceutical and medical device specialisms across businesses in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Australasia. Throughout her career, Nadia has developed an outstanding leadership record of growing revenues and motivating teams, by combining strong commercial and management skills alongside an overriding passion for achieving strategic goals through team leadership. The power and importance of mentoring, and particularly supporting women in leadership, is central to Nadia’s ethos. She works with a variety of organisations to help develop talents and support women in business. Nadia joined Arquer Diagnostics as Chief Executive Officer in November 2016, tasked with developing the business infrastructure, through the alignment of operations, clinical, market access and commercial strategies for their breakthrough MCM5 cancer diagnostic technology. ADXBLADDER – Arquer’s inaugural product launch – was achieved in October 2017, delivering an innovative new targeted diagnostic test for bladder cancer to the European urology community. Throughout her career, Nadia has strived to deliver excellence. Working with great leaders and teams in different regions worldwide helped her develop a strong understanding of what excellence looks like for patients, healthcare professionals and shareholders alike.
